Canadian Health and Care Mall: Symptoms Diabetes

25 December, 2014 (10:46) | Diabetes | By: Health news

Research by Canadian Health and Care Mall – SYMPTOMS

My partner was very thirsty before she was found to have diabetes. What was the cause of the thirst?

The most common signs of diabetes are thirst and loss of weight. These two symptoms are related and one leads to the other (there is more detail on weight loss in the answer to the next question). The first thing to go wrong is the increased amount of urine. Normally we pass about 1.5 litres (about 2 pints) of urine per day but people with uncontrolled diabetes may produce five times that amount. The continual loss of fluid dries out the body and the sensation of thirst is a warning that, unless they drink enough to replace the extra urine, they will soon become very dehydrated.

Of course people who do not have diabetes may also pass large amounts of urine. Most beer drinkers know the effects of five pints of bitter. In this case it is the volume of beer that causes the extra urine, whereas in diabetes the large volume of urine causes the thirst. In the early stages, the thirst is usually mild and most people fail to realise its significance unless they have had some personal experience of diabetes. Someone with undiagnosed diabetes will often take jugs of water up to bed, wake in the night to quench their thirst and pass urine, and still not realise that something is wrong. It would be helpful if more people knew that troublesome thirst may be due to diabetes.

I had lost quite a lot of weight before I was finally diagnosed with diabetes. Why was this?

The main fuel for the body is glucose, which is obtained from the digestion of sugary or starchy food. People with untreated diabetes cannot use this glucose as fuel in the normal way or store it. The unused glucose builds up in their bloodstream and overflows into the urine. Someone who has uncontrolled diabetes may lose as much as 500 g (just over 1 lb) of glucose (sugar) in their urine in 24 hours. Anyone trying to lose weight knows that sugar equals calories. These calories contained in the urine are lost to the body and are a drain on its resources. The 500 g of glucose lost are equivalent to 10 currant buns (2000 calories per day).

Lack of insulin means that the body cannot use glucose to provide energy or to build stores of starch and fat. As a result body tissues are broken down to form glucose and ketones, and this causes loss of fat and wasting of muscles.

My vagina has been really itchy and sore. My CP says it’s to do with my diabetes. Can this be right?

A woman whose diabetes is out of control may be troubled by itching around the vagina. The technical name for this distressing symptom is pruritus vulvae. The equivalent complaint may be seen in men when the end of the penis becomes sore (balanitis). If the foreskin is also affected, it may become thickened (phimosis), which prevents the foreskin from being pulled back and makes it difficult to keep the penis clean.

Milk Allergies

26 April, 2010 (17:12) | Allergies | By: Health news

Millions of people in the country are lactose intolerant or have digestive problems when they drink milk. If you child is one of these people, by simply heating the milk before she drinks it, she may be able to drink it without having the normal lactose intolerance problems.

This data is originating from a recent report in the Allergy and Clinical Immunology publication. As reported in the research article, when normal milk was heated and provided to kids who had cow milk allergies, three of four of them no longer exhibited allergy symptoms. Under normal situations, when a milk allergy sensitive child drinks milk, his antibodies go into action to attack the milk proteins. This is what causes the allergy symptoms. The theory is that when milk is treated past a specified temperature, the heat destroys the milk proteins that normally trigger the allergy symptoms.

Next the researchers had to test this theory. And they did so by slowly introducing the way the gave the heated milk to the kids. They started by giving the heated milk to the children indirectly through other food products. For example, they would heat milk, and then add the heated milk to various recipes such as muffins, pancakes, and others. If the children had no reaction from eating foods containing heated milk, they then had them drink the heated milk directly. As theorized, most of the participants had no reaction to the heated milk.

Up to now, if a lactose intolerant person wanted to drink milk, they did have choices. These choices usually came down to one of the following four options:

  • They could do what many people do and simply avoid milk products altogether.
  • They could drink milk and simply suffer the consequences of bloating, cramps, upset stomach, diarrhea, and so on.
  • They could orally take food enzymes that enable them to pre-digest the milk proteins.
  • They could purchase the more expensive milk that have milk enzymes added to them.
  • We should, of course, mention that there are many people in the health field who think that humans have no business drinking milk from a cow. And, what they suggest is that if you really desire the taste of a milk like product that you try one of the many milk substitutes in the stores such as soy milk, almond milk, rice milk and so on. But for those that want cow’s milk, the study could provide them with new food options.

Up to this point, its long been thought that if a person was allergic to milk, it didn’t matter whether the milk was cold, warm, hot, or whatever. At the very least the study forces researchers to rethink some of their earliest assumptions about milk allergies and how to handle them.

And, even though this particular milk study was relatively tiny, consisting of just a hundred children, if larger follow up studies are done and reflect the same results, an entire new class of products could hit the market targeted at the millions of people who love to drink milk but are lactose intolerant.

But that could be only the tip of the iceberg. This study could also lead to entirely new ways of managing and controlling lactose intolerance in both adults and children.

    Treatment of Allergies

    10 March, 2010 (23:28) | Allergies | By: admin

Allergies cause various disorders including eczema, asthma, psoriasis, hay fever and many other common disorders. You can identify your allergy symptoms quickly, if you can find the allergens you’re allergic to. Way of living really banks on how faster you are able to diagnose, since the faster you diagnose the sooner you take action to remove the foreign invaders.

Here are a couple of tactics to cut back and treat your common allergies:

  • The first and foremost thing will be to remove potential allergens from your home. Avoid owning pets if you’re allergic to animals. When you can’t live without your beloved pet, make a trip to the vet to propose treatment options that reduce pet dander.
  • Secondly, ensure that you clean your house frequently. Remove dust employing a tool that cleans dust and never one that simply pushes it around. Clean the floor using a wet cloth to get rid of dust that aren’t often removed while sweeping or dusting. There are special products that can be purchased, that eradicates dust from the house. For instance: Vacuums for removing dust and air filters to eliminate dust and help avoid recurring.
  • If possible invest money in a good air filter. Try getting one that covers the whole house if possible, as this may eliminate most familiar irritants from your home. It’s possible to create an environment where it is possible to become almost allergy free. While it’s expensive, you’ll find the investment in a whole-house air filter worthwhile, even though you don’t have any “known” or diagnosed allergies.
  • Make an effort to wash your bed coverings and pillows in warm water once in a week. Dispose of the pillows that are more than one-year old to cut back dust mites. It does not mean they do not exist, just because you don’t see them.
  • If you are living in a damp or moist area, look out for molds which might be growing in your home. A dehumidifier may be all that is needed to reduce the mold and mildew that can grow in your living room.
  • Keep the windows closed during spring or fall season to avoid pollen from drifting indoors. You will find gardens or forests which might be plagued with allergy producing plants and flowers. Try to avoid walking through or visiting such areas.
  • Always use polyester pillows instead of using feather filled pillows despite the fact that they are more comfortable. Down and feathers are prone to trigger allergic reactions than synthetic products.
  • Wooden flooring or bamboo floors are more advisable than wall-to-wall carpeting for people having severe allergies. Wall to wall carpeting can attract dust, pollen, dander and also contain substances that pollute the environment naturally.
  • The real key to treating allergies is identifying the allergen and that it’s an allergy and not sensitivity or other common reasons. Once identified it’s an allergy seeking medical help to cure and prevent the same in future is very important. Leaving an allergic condition untreated could be fatal at times. Proper care and prevention are the keys to a healthy and allergy free life.

    Food Intolerance Symptoms

    9 March, 2010 (00:51) | Allergies | By: Health news

Food intolerance symptoms can be many and varied depending on your level of intolerance, type of food intolerance and general health.

On a personal level, I suffered from food intolerance symptoms and then had to assist one of my own children who had major food problems due to leaky gut syndrome.

My son was only two and a half when I realized that something was not right due to his behavior and toileting issues. The good news is that we did find a solution and he is now able to eat nearly any food we give him. He still suffers from some wheat problems but we tend to use Kamut or Egyptian Gold flour based products. This seems to fair even better than Spelt flour.

If you think you may be suffering from food problems then take a look at this list.

    Some symptoms include:
    • Asthma
    • Head aches
    • Tiredness / lethargy
    • Skin rashes
    • Heart Palpitations
    • Speech problems
    • Bed wetting
    • Unable to concentrate
    • Ear infections
    • Ear aches
    • ADD
    • ADHD
    • Irritable bowel Syndrome (IBS)
    • Irritable
    • Moody
    • Oppositional defiance
    • Stubborn
    • Silly noises
    • hyperactive
    • General feeling of being unwell.

This list is by no means exhaustive. Food reactions can be brought on within an hour or can show up a couple of days later and this can depend on your level of food intolerance, how much you have eaten of those things that are causing your food intolerance symptoms and your lifestyle.

Many food problems are a result of naturally occurring chemicals in foods. To explain further, food is composed of many naturally occurring compounds. Three that can cause major problems for some people are Salicylates, Amines and MSG – Mono Sodium Glutamate. Everyone has a threshold and your level of food intolerance is based partly on that threshold. To give you an example, I had a problem with amines for a while. So, if I ate something high in amine such as grapes and then continued to eat other foods high in amine content, I would start to experience food intolerance symptoms. Some people will have a higher threshold with amines and salicylates so would not experience the same reaction as someone with a lower threshold.

Food problems are the body’s way of telling you it needs healing. Conducting a food elimination diet is a good way to recognize where your food problems stem from, among other steps you can take. There are a number of great resources that we have identified and used that can assist with recovering from food problems.

    Allergies

    6 March, 2010 (22:21) | Allergies | By: admin

Allergies are nothing more than our immune system kicking into high gear. It is one of our body’s methods for fighting against incoming “foreign” offenders. So when one of the allergens hit, our defense mechanisms reacts to take care of it. Allergy might be brought on by several types of irritants which range from pollen to dust. Only a few commonly cause allergic symptoms.

For example, consider pollen. A natural substance produced by budding plants, flowers and trees. For some it appears to be a heart-warming sight, on the other hand for others it causes unwelcome symptoms, which include:

    1. Redness, Itching or Watery eyes
    2. Sneezing
    3. Persistent Running Nose
    4. Sinus Congestion
    5. Respiratory problems including Asthma or Wheezing
    6. Coughing
    7. Hives
    8. Hay fever
    9. Nausea, or Vomiting

At times allergies causes life-threatening anaphylactic reaction.

Anaphylaxis: It is the most severe reaction, a person can have when exposed to substances they are allergic to. A typical anaphylaxis response is so serious, that it even may result in death. If you are unaware of it, you might be putting your life under risk! It’s better to learn what anaphylaxis is and how to address it.

Anaphylaxis -Tough word, tough symptoms. It is a severe reaction to a common allergen.

This reaction may go along with throat constriction, swelling, and an inability to swallow or breathe and shock.
Normally it affects only a small percentage of the population that is consistently re-exposed to allergens. They are highly sensitive. Some other symptoms may include heart palpitations, low blood pressure and fluid in the lungs.

Some allergens are more likely to produce this type of reaction than others, including:It is one of the most severe reaction, a person can have when exposed to substances they’re allergic to. A typical anaphylaxis response is so serious, that it even may lead to death. If you’re unaware of it, you might be putting yourself under risk! It’s better to understand what anaphylaxis is and how to handle it.

Some allergens are more likely to produce this reaction than others, including:

    1. Stings or bites from insects.
Consumption of certain foods, including shellfish or peanuts.
Use of medications including antibiotics or sulfa drugs in some patients.
      Exposure to latex, and
Specific vaccines, which includes those that contain egg proteins.

Unless and until you’re taking a substance, (like a medication) you cannot realize that you’re hypersensitive to it. But the good thing is that, if you might take proper treatment and care, the symptoms of anaphylactic reaction could be reversed.

Many hospitals offer patients epinephrine and other medications, that will reduce inflammation. Knowing you’re super sensitive to a particular allergen, your physician may prescribe an “at-home” care kit which might include a pre-loaded dose of epinephrineyou can use in the event you are subjected to a known allergen and initiate an anti-anaphylactic reaction.
Using this home kit will stabilize you long enough to seek emergency care. Knowing you’re prone to having this severe reaction, you should wear a medical alert bracelet or inform those you deal with of your condition, to take proper precautions to shield yourself.

In case you use a home kit, you should still seek the care of your physician immediately following exposure, as symptoms often return even with treatment a few hours after your initial reaction.

    Cat Allergy Symptoms and Treatments

    29 January, 2010 (04:33) | Allergies | By: admin

There are different types of cat allergy treatment available, but before addressing any treatment, we must first discuss what causes a cat allergy and what the symptoms are.

An allergic reaction to a cat is caused by the human body’s immune system mistaking cat hair & dander as a “dangerous substance”. The immune system is attempting to ward off these “dangerous substances”. This causes symptoms like that of hay fever.

    • Symptoms

There are many different allergy symptoms, but they mostly depend on what type of cat allergy you are diagnosed with: cat hair, cat dander, cat flea, or cat skin allergy. Also, there are many different types of cat allergy treatment, so different symptoms require different treatments.

    • Swollen and Watery Eyes

This is usually caused by tiny pieces of cat dust and dander traveling from the cat’s skin through the air and into your eyes. You will usually have itchy eyes and they will be red at times. You can get rid of the swelling and watery eyes by either removing the cat or by taking eye drops.

    • Wheezing and Coughing

Just as in the cause of the itchy, watery, swollen eyes, cat dust and dander can travel through the air and be breathed in through the mouth. The muscles in the airways will contract in a reaction to the dander coming in contact with your airways, resulting in difficulty breathing, coughing, and wheezing.

    • Excema

Sometimes cat dander will come in contact with the skin and cause itchy, red, dry sections. To remedy this, minimize scratching and moisturize the area.

Other symptoms include sneezing and running/stuffy nose.

    • Treatments

A cat allergy treatment is available in pill form, so your doctor may be able to subscribe something if you have symptoms of cat allergy. Another cat allergy treatment is available in the form of antihistamine nasal sprays. However, these methods provide only temporary relief. Here are some tips to minimize your cat allergies:

    1. Keep the cat out of certain rooms.
    2. Keep the house well-ventilated.
    3. Vacuum often.

By knowing what the symptoms and causes for you cat allergies are, it is much easier to identify treatments. By using the information in this article, you should be able to ease your allergies quite well.

Natural Solutions For Winter Sinus Woes

    11 December, 2009 (04:07) | Allergies | By: admin

Aside from the usual viruses and infections common during this time of the year, the inhospitable climate and other factors can turn your nose into a lump of coal. Over the counter medications can help treat the symptoms and ease general discomfort caused by winter sinus problems. None of them will provide long term relief and many may actually cause more problems with extended use. Bottom line, use of these medications may or may not be any more effective than a few tried and true natural remedies safely used by millions every year.

By far the biggest culprit behind chronic winter sinus pain is the climate. The dry air outside in colder climates is nothing compared to the super dry air we encounter inside buildings with central heating systems. The longer a building remains closed with the heating system running, the dryer the air becomes. It is not uncommon for a buildings humidity levels in the winter to be 30% lower than they are during the remainder of the year.

Restoring the humidity in your home to more comfortable levels can be achieved in a variety of ways.

    • One of the oldest and most effective methods is to simply boil a pot of water.

Regardless of the size of your home, boiling a pot of water every day can greatly increase humidity levels. An added benefit to this practice is the reduction of static electricity in the air unless you like being zapped every time you touch a door knob.

    • Another natural method is the use of a humidifier.

If you’re already encountering sinus problems before going to sleep, you’ll usually wake up to find them much worse. While you sleep your sinuses continue to dry out from the super dry air and mucus becomes hard and in some cases painful and difficult to remove. Using a humidifier in your bedroom will prevent mucus from thickening while you sleep and will provide the soothing moisture your sinuses need to operate properly. Always be sure your humidifier is clean to prevent spreading mold into the air.

    • The use of nasal sprays for some carries a certain stigma.

Honestly, sticking something into your nose and snorting is never going to be attractive no matter who you are. With that said, few things can provide immediate sinus relief like saline spray. So be discreet, but don’t write it off simply because it’s not as glamorous as taking a pill. Also keep in mind that there are medicated nasal sprays. Never confuse these as medicated sprays are not be used in the same fashion and can have significant side effects if used improperly.

    • A final natural solution is the use of moisturizing gels.

These do not contain any medicines, but often have ingredients that may lead people to believe they do because of the smell and sensation they produce. A common ingredient is camphor, which many associate as a medicine smell. Camphor will produce a warm and tingly sensation inside the nose that will travel into the remainder of the sinuses. The benefit of gels is that their moisturizing properties tend to last longer than saline spray. This can be especially useful at night if you’re unable to utilize a humidifier.

Are there benefits to using natural remedies for your sinus problems versus just using over the counter medications? Absolutely and the first thing you’ll notice is the money you save. Second, all of these natural methods can be used be used by children or adults plus people currently taking other medications or undergoing medical treatment. Even if your sinus problems are viral, not environmental, these practices will still provide sinus relief without adding more chemicals to your ailing body.

How to Take Care of Health in Winter – How to Deal With the Change in Season

    7 November, 2009 (20:19) | Allergies | By: admin

The inception of cold breeze; frosty nights; biting chilly mornings and starts the winter woes that come along with it as a twin sibling-agitating the body to hell and disturbing the immune system. Some experience a rashness in the skin, some undergoes a flaky skin, some feel an itching numbness in the feet and palms while someone’s nose pours like a stream through out the season. Name it as seasonal sickness or an allergy, it definitely irks!

Explains Dr. Sanjay Saini, a physician.

People don’t understand that one has to tame the body with the upcoming change in the season, don’t we prepare and check our memories for the coming examinations? Why not check and scrutinize our bodies? Generally, everybody takes the seasonal change for granted and ultimately join the unending queue of the viral victims. No concern for health and one end in the bed with prescribed medication. It is nothing but a bad reaction to a bad action.

During this season, the human body, in order to keep itself warm, generates a lot of energy as a protection against the cold weather and chilly winds. This warmth intensifies the fire of the stomach which helps to digest the food and strengthens the digestive system of a healthy and strong person. It is then able to digest heavier food taken in large quantity. Therefore, during the winter season nutritious food should be taken. Though, with seasonal fruits and vegetables available throughout the year to meet the ingredients of junk food-be it frozen peas or cabbage grown with agro technology, the Gen next no longer experiences the bliss of enjoying the seasonal delicacies. Result: An imbalance in the metabolism and sickness. Here are a few tips to not to fight but copout the woes:

    1. Avoid extreme changes in temperature. With Ac’s becoming a norm in every household; comforting oneself to room temperature and switching immediately to the coldness can make the matters worse.
    2. Include rich supplements to your diet such as millet, maize, gram, moong, black gram and masoor. Besides, milk, clarified butter and mawa are foods that provide energy. Juices of amla, carrots and tomatoes are also highly beneficial.
    3. For someone who experiences extreme numbness, a few sips of beer, red wine and alcohol can help increase the blood rotation.
    4. Pamper your skin with glycerin or a number of moisturizers available. Remember, a dreary skin is a signal of an ailment about to pounce.
    5. With winters, comes the season of taking vows. Be in vogue with overcoats, pullovers and scarves. Showcasing your worked up attire in biting cold may leave you loosing all the fervor of the occasion. Being comfortable and appearing trendy is much better than rubbing hands and shivering all the while in front of a wood fire.
    6. Be it winters or summers, the best time to exercise is still dawn. Engage yourself in brahstika and suryabhedi pranayam. Also, suryanamaskar helps increase the blood rotation thereby bringing heat in the body. Yes, it feels like being cozy in a warm blanket but a workout in the morning is worth it. After all, it is no one else you are doing it for and don’t they say sound health is the first state of happiness.
    7. Beat the winter blues. According to The National Organization for Seasonal Affective Disorder (NOSAD) Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a type of winter depression which affects millions of people every winter, especially during December, January and February. If you think that you may suffer from SAD try to get out in the daylight for a while each day. If possible get some winter sun. Make the most of it, it’s a lovely season!

Allergy Symptoms and How to Heal Them Naturally

    2 November, 2009 (19:34) | Allergies | By: admin

Allergy symptoms vary from person to person (and animal to animal), but tend to fall into a few categories. One group of people will tend to express their allergies through their skin. Various eruptions will appear on any part of your body. These are unique to you, in both the area affected and the type of eruption.

Another group of people will express their allergy symptoms through watery discharge of the upper respiratory tract. Symptoms might include those typical of hay fever – streaming eyes, sore eyes, red eyes, itchy eyes, streaming nose, itchy palate, itchy throat, itchy nose, sneezing, etc.

And yet another group of people may express their allergy symptoms through their stomach, with indigestion, gas and diarrhea.

Whatever the area affected, it is showing you your weakness. But at the core of the problem is your immune system. It’s struggling really hard and not making much headway. It’s badly compromised.

This is at the heart of every single disease under the sun. The expression of the disease (ie your symptoms) indicate your area of weakness, but the fact that you have the allergy or disease in the first place is because your immune system is compromised.

If you have a good, healthy immune system, your body will heal everything. You won’t even be aware that there is a problem.

So how do you restore your immune system to its former glory? Generally this is a life transformation. There is no easy fix, no magic bullet. But if you start now, it can only improve.

Things that stop your immune system working are:

    • eating unhealthy food (fast, junk, processed, dairy, too much meat, preservatives, colours and so on)
    • taking medicine on a regular basis
    • having vaccines
    • not getting exposed to enough sun
    • not taking regular exercise
    • drinking too much alcohol

But by far the most important aspect is how you think. If you think negatively, get frightened easily, get angry often or suppress your feelings regularly, your immune system will be badly affected.

Those people who are at peace with themselves don’t have compromised immune systems. And they don’t get sick very often.

So instead of thinking someone else, other than you, can fix your allergy symptoms, try thinking that you are responsible for your health. It could be the start of a profound journey for you.

Pained by Red, Itching Skin? Just What Are Hives and How Did You Get Them?

    28 October, 2009 (04:02) | Allergies | By: admin

The case of hives you have experienced are the itchy, red splotches on your skin that can come quickly and disappear over the course of minutes or hours. Almost all types of allergy hives cause itching. They usually form on the surface of the skin. Sometimes they appear in the soft tissues of the mouth, throat and eyes. Hives are the  reaction of the body to an allergen, this is where the name allergy comes from. On some occasions, hives can be so severe, they become life-threatening affecting the whole body not just the skin. This systemic condition is called anaphylaxis.

When you come in contact with certain foods, cosmetics, soaps and detergents , medicines or even substances in your environment, your immune system can become negatively affected. You can experience an allergic reaction to any number of these items and your body goes on defense, prompting immune cells to produce a chemical called histamine. Histamine affects the  small blood vessels in the skin, the capillaries, causing them to swell and liquids are pooled under the skin causing welts known as hives.

Histamines can also be released in the bloodstream due to chronic infections systemic disease such as asthma, a condition that causes inflammation and obstruction of the airways in the lungs, blood products given intravenously, or into the veins. A healthcare professional can diagnose hives after examining the affected person and listening to an account of the event. Medical experts refer to chronic hives as cases that lasts longer than 6 weeks. This may happen to anyone, but it is usually most common in women aged 40-60 years. These chronic hive cases can last for months or years, but they are very unusual.

According to findings of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, allergy hives affects an estimated 20 % of our population. The rash associated with hives can be brought on by anything as simple as an allergic reaction to food. Hives can also be triggered by insect stings and bites, emotional and physical stress and certain physical agents: heat, cold, sunlight, or water. Medical professionals refer to hives as urticaria.

You find a good  hives treatment by using some over the counter antihistamine medications but be sure to read about possible side effects and make sure you do not have a reaction to them before you rely upon them. Many people have had relief from their hives with diphenhydramine, sold as Benadryl. Cetirizine, marketed as Zyrtec, has been recommended as well as loratadine (Alavert and Claritin). Medical technicians use Epinephrine to treat very severe reactions such as anaphylaxis.

With the advent of so called “Alternative Medicine”, there is a whole new awareness of safer, more natural cures and remedies for hives and related allergic reactions of the body. On the forefront of this more holistic approach to human imbalances is the science of Homeopathy.

The science of Homeopathy is more than 200 hundred years old. It is based on the philosophy that certain natural substances can stimulate the body’s own innate healing systems. This then allows the body to heal itself, often faster than with so called modern medicines.

Homeopathy is a very unique system of medicine. The ingredients that are used are at levels generally understood to be non-toxic and develop no negative side effects. The use of homeopathic ingredients for the treatment of hives, or any other particular condition, is based on “homeopathic provings” recorded in the “Homeopathic Materia Medica”.

Allergies – 5 Steps to Ridding Yourself of Sinusitis

    22 October, 2009 (07:36) | Allergies | By: admin

For those of us who love the outdoors, it can be really depressing to have allergies. Stuffed up head, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, headache, plugged ears etc. Sounds awful right? Well guess what, for those of us who have suffered through this year after year, it is awful. Worst of all, mine started lingering into the fall and winter. These use to be my relief months. So here is the solution I found.

    • Brainstorm.

Ask yourself – How would it feel to have this go away? Completely! Is it worth taking the time to do these steps?

    • Write down your answer.

I mean it. Write down how things would be for you if you didn’t have to put up with allergies. Just go ahead and jot them down!

    • Start.

As soon as you finish reading this or as soon after that as possible, get started. I was 80 to 90 % allergy free in about 5 hours! And, it’s mid October and I have not had a symptom since.

    • Plan to stick with it.

Keep it up until you are free of the allergies or sinusitis. And keep hydrated. Then continue as long as you want. If symptoms come back get back on the program. I went off the program and still am symptom free after 2 months.

    • Get leverage.

The best leverage you have on this program is it’s cost. It consists of sea salt and water, so whatever that costs you is what you pay. Get the unprocessed sea salt at your local health food store or order it on line.

    Here’s the program:

Whatever you weigh, say if it is 200 pounds, you drink 100 ounces of water a day. For every 16 ounces of water you take one eighth of a teaspoon of unprocessed sea salt. Just put it on your tongue and wash it down with the water. Spread the water out over a 10 or 12 hour period. Now when I did it, I had about 3 bottles of water and the salt over about 4 hours and my symptoms reduced by 80 to 90%. You can do your own research on the net, but it is simple and it worked fantastic for me. I had such relief after being so sick with sinusitis.

Well good luck and breath free.
